Ahhh…Irn Bru...a symbol of Scotland. This advert came out a couple of years ago just before Christmas and was a major topic of conversation for everyone living in Scotland at the time. It still cracks me up…
Inspiration for alternative Christmas service in 2010? I think so!
Oh and on the topic of Scottishness and Christmassyness this pic appeared in my Twitter feed the other evening…huh.

For those of us who are not Scottish, please elaborate on Irn Bru. Flavour, colour, texture? : )
I haven’t had Irn Bru since 1990 so I’m looking fwd to trying it again soon.
And…nice subtle hint with that pic. I think we should make this reading an international thing though, don’t you reckon? Then create a hugely elaborate video that none of us have the time to edit
And another comment where I remember to subscribe…
Sounds like a fabulous idea to me! I have no idea how we would do that?? I don’t even know how to edit a video. I just click record and stop with my digital camera (or me mammy’s webcam!) and hope for the best.
Rumours are that a video from Scotland will be made tomorrow evening…
Genius.
B.
I was told about the Irn Bru Christmas advert and wasn’t sure what to expect!!! It maketh me laugh a lot, thank you for enabling me to share the Irn Bru magic with others
irn bru – is dark orange, transparent and fizzy. taste – not entirely sure how to describe it.
Ah well, I’ll just have to settle for that. Kind of like if someone asked me to describe the taste of Burger Rings… David, any suggestions for that?!
