The first snowflake

I came out of my friend’s house at around 11 p.m. to have to scrape the ice off Cassie the Corsa before I could drive her up to the pregnancy crisis centre to drop off some maternity clothes (thanks Mrs B!).

I switched the car on to see this on my radio/tape player dashboard.

1 degree above freezing*. Brrrrrr.

The first ’snowflake’ always marks the official arrival of winter.

Because Cassie never lies about the outside temperature. She’s very reliable about that.

*for those of you who only work in fahrenheit, I looked it up so you’d understand. 1°C=32 °F

Welcome

Welcome to Learning from Sophie. Online I'm known as BrunetteKoala, and in 'real life' everyone seems to call by a whole variety of differentiations on my name! Occasionally I am known by the one on my birth certificate, Laura Anne. Please feel free to take a look around and leave a comment (as long as it's not hurtful, anonymous or inappropriate).
